Katie specializes in working with children and young adults from 2-29 years old, with a variety of disorders including, but not limited to:  receptive and expressive language delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, developmental delay, language processing difficulties, oral motor deficits, pragmatic language (social skill) difficulties, Articulation disorders, feeding, and auditory processing disorders. Speech and language screenings can be conducted to assess if there is a need for therapy or further testing. In addition, comprehensive speech and language evaluations are administered, using the most up to date standardized testing equipment, to assess all areas of communication. Katie specializes in providing educational training and consultations for families, school observations and visits, helping with workplace difficulties and communication, and corresponding with other professionals (School Teachers, Pediatricians, Audiologists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Psychologists, ENTs). These elements are crucial for carryover and consistency of skills. Katie strives to tailor each treatment plan and therapeutic program to fit each client’s individual needs.

We are out-of-network with all insurance companies. However, many insurance companies will reimburse clients at the out-of-network rate for speech therapy services. We do offer assistance in obtaining therapy pre-authorization, getting information on how to file claims, and providing detailed invoices with all of the insurance codes required.
